Kitchen Fire

Things have become a little hectic in mine and Enoch's life. My parents never aloud my sister and I to light any candles in the home. Well I now know why........ Okay so I had this extra ball of wax to melt. I set the ball of wax in a pan on the stove. Not thinking anything could happen I quickly went to go use the restroom and not even 30 sec later I began to smell something burning. I quickly ran back to the stove to find a huge ball of fire had started. My first thought was to grab the sink and put it out with water. The water only made the fire bigger. My cabinets began to crack. The next stupid thing I did without thought was grabbing the pan and throwing it the sink. After this I ran out to find someone with a fire extinguisher. Luckily I found my neighbors down stars to come help me. Be the time we got the fire out the police and fire men came.

My whole kitchen and throughout my house was snow white with extinguisher.

This was a scare for my self and ever since I have been so paranoid of fires starting in the home. With how tired I was feeling I could of easily fallen asleep and lost everything. I am grateful for how things went and that it didn't get any worse. I will never burn a candle in my home and will be purchasing a fire extinguisher.

Dancing With The Stars

Having the chance to be on Dancing With The Stars was a dream come true. I had so much fun. This was a chance of a life time that I will never forget.

I love each of the kids on the team. Having to spend so much time together for DWTS we became closer than any other team I have been on in the past. They became family to me.

My handsome husband Enoch came to both of my performances. I was so glad to have him with me. The first time I invited my friend Briana Walker along with my husband. They both had the chance to sit with all the other celebrities on the floor to watch. The second time I was told that I only get one ticket to give out so I gave it to a team member Kelly Baldwin because she was apart of this as any of us dancing. She was the alternate and had come to each one of the rehearsals. I felt it was fare and I loved this girl and couldn't imagine her not sharing this experience with us. The day I flew back to Hollywood the producer found out that my husband wasn't coming because I had given out my ticket. They went out of there way and got a ticket for him to come. I was shocked!

Briana Walker is an inspiration in my life and considered a close friend. I was so glad she could be apart of this experience.

Receiving our 10-09-10 was such a shocker. We set our goal and did the routine great and were surprised with the scores.

Being dancing with the stars the finale gave us a chance to meet all the stars on the show. The most rememberable was Buzz. McCall (other blond) and I had the chance of meeting his wonderful wife after the show at the party. Lois Buzz wife approached us and complemented us on winning. When we said that we wanted to meet her husband she soon left and brought Buzz to us. We all couldn't believe it. He is a part of our history and having a chance to meet him and his wife was gave us star struck moment.

After finding out that we made it to the finale we were told to bring back the original couples and cut the music. Not having anytime to celebrate we had to meet back in the studio to re choreograph the second number. We had only 4 hours before we had to send a video of approval to ABC.

Coming home I found that some of my primary kids had welcomed me home.

I had such a good time! Everyone was so kind. This is an experience I will never forget. I hope this is only the beginning of a new chapter. This would have never happened with out my friends and family who have supported me. Thank you so much for all your votes and wonderful support. I love you all!

Wadsworth Adventures

Its been a crazy few months. So here are just some pictures and remeberable times in our lives. Enjoy!

Graduation was an exciting day. I had the thought the night before to stone part of my gown to represent Ballroom major program. Everyone loved it. I think I started a new trend.

Graduation started at 7:30

am extremely early. I was shocked when I found out that my twin drove up from california to come along with my mother who came from Arizona and my grandparents who came from Logan. I am so grateful for my wonderful family!

There have been some crazy times. Times that I wanted to just give up. I have learned so much and would never take it back. College was a blast! I will miss it and the wonderful friends that I met. I wouldn't be where I am today with out these wonderful friends.

Halloween Hebeegeebees!

Halloween Heebeegeebees

Have you ever had the "heebeegeebees"? I'll bet you have and you just don't know it! It is not derived from He-bee...the goddess of youth and spring. It is a form of colloquialism which appears to have derived from the culture of the people in the southern portion of the United States. Being from the South I have the understanding of what it means to have the "heebeegeebees". Wise King Solomon stated, "Get wisdom and in all thy getting, get understanding." It is my quest to bring understanding to the word "heebeegeebees". This could be that I have lived with Grandpa too long, or on the other hand, that I have lived without him too long!

My grandmother was filled with colloquialism. She often made this statement, "With some people you just pass and repass." Meaning that if they are busybodies or troublemakers you don't get involved in their business. You greet them and go about your own affairs. Just smile, nod and move along...

Another colloquialism she used was, "I've got to turn my tail over my back to get that done!" Meaning that whatever it was she was doing at the time she had to hurry and scurry like a squirrell to accomplish the task at hand. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree, so my daughter, as a child, formulated her own vocabulary to fit the situation which brought laughter to our family. She was afraid of bugs. They gave her the "heebeegeebees"! When she was about six years old, she had been pinched by a huge, hardshelled pincherbug while seated next to me high up on a ferris wheel at the carnival that had come to town. Needless to say, she was terrified and screaming at the top of her lungs until the ride operator stopped and let us off. Later, after she had calmed down, she mimicked what she had seen me do when stomping on a bug and she looked up at me and said, "Look, Mother, I squmped it!"

Last night I went with one of my sons to pick up a door at the shop of a friend after we attended his son's football game. It was getting late so I stayed in the warm car and dozed off while they visited inside the shop. I awoke much later with a good case of the heebeegeebees...a nervous feeling that prevented me from going back to sleep...His friend came out of the shop just as I was stepping out of the car to walk around and try and shake it off. He invited me inside and apologized for keeping me waiting so long and I commented that I simply had a case of the hebeegeebees. Then I asked him if he had ever had a case of the "heebeegeebees" and he replied, "No, but my wife has. She's from the South too!" (It would be interesting to know what gives her the heebeegeebees.) For me, this attacks when I am awakened from sleep shortly after I've dozed off. It creates a restless feeling making it impossible to go back to sleep for awhile. Sometimes when this happens I'll walk through the house and peer out the window to observe what happens in the still of the night while the rest of the world is sleeping...

One night while a case of the heebeegeebees had overtaken me, I looked out the window and watched some deer that had walked out of a nearby mountain, hunting for a tasty morsel of food. Neighbors awoke the next morning to find their shrubs nibbled on, their tulip bulbs uprooted and eaten and their gardens ransacked!

Mothers tend to experience the heebeegeebees when they're waiting up for their teenaged children to come home or they've fallen asleep while waiting only to discover that the child hasn't returned home at curfew, or a wandering child doesn't come home at all. This creates an acute case of the heebeegeebees which mothers then transfer to fathers (and you definitely do not want fathers getting a case of the hebeegeebees. Never, never, never!)

Another night I was accidentally awakened by guests who had arrived after I fell asleep. When they retired to their beds I crept out of my bed with a good case of... you guessed it... the heebeegeebees! I did my usual thing, wandering through the house, and when I looked out the window I saw the flashing lights of police cars out in the street by my house and I wondered whose children were up too late or who it was that was in trouble inside the cars the police had stopped. This gave me a double-dose of the heebeegeebees which caused me to have nightmares all night long! I dreampt Dr. Phil and his wife, Robin, had come to visit me and I was tyring to make them a casserole to eat because they were so hungry that Robin put her hand into her pocket and found a few little, tiny pieces of candy to munch on. Dr. Phil counseled her to "go ahead and eat them." I could NEVER get that casserole finished and before the dream was over I had put chalkboard erasers and everything else imaginable into it. Thank goodness we never got around to eating it..... I was so wiped out the next morning, after I woke up, that my houseguests had to fix their own breakfast. Don't EVER get the heebeegeebees!

I am fully aware that it is not just women or mothers who get the heebeegeebees. Some people get the heebeegeebees on Halloween night when it is dark outside and spookey--oo--key! My great uncle, whose nickname was Possum, got a horrific case of the heebeegeebees way back in Tennessee on one of these dark and spooky (and might I add moonless) Halloween nights. He was peacefully meditating while sitting in his outhouse, when suddenly my mother's brothers, without knowing Uncle Possum was sitting on his throne, began to lift up his outhouse as a Halloween trick, to put it up on top of his barn. Uncle Possum was filled with the "heebeegeebees" and he let out a blood-curddling scream which nearly scared those mischievious boys to death! It most definitely is not fun to have a case of the heebeegeebees.

We always enjoy having our best friend Burton come visit us. This time we had got to keep him for four weeks. He went with us to Chris and Chrystal McCullough wedding, then got to experiance the great adventures of Idaho falls for the forth, and stayed for Enochs birthday. We had so much fun having Burton around. We did so much! here are some pictures to show.

We knew that Burton was having to go back home soon but it came too fast. We were so sad to see him leave. I wished that he would just stay and live with us. I knew that he needed to get back and solve his priorities. I really do consider him as a brother that I never had. Cant wait to have him back.

Okay so I really need to get this blogger thing down. so heres the news and what the Wadsworths have been up too. Lets start with the 4rth of july. For every year traditionally Enoch and I go to Idaho Falls and stay with our great friends Max and Becky Wolf. This year we went to the parade, four wheeling, shooting, boating, and watched the worlds best fireworks. We had a blast! here are some picture of the fun.

soon after we got back from Idaho I started planning for Enochs 30th birthday party. tee hee.... For his birthday I decided to make an office for Enoch at home so that he had a place to work. This was a huge project but I really enjoyed doing it. Of and the best part about the whole project was that it only cost me under $200. Heck yeah! I painted, got him office desk, framed his amazing pictures of the deceleration and constitution, a clock, some decretive frames, curtains and so much more..... see for your self......

Enoch and I decided to also share the birthday party with Chris Conner our nephew because their birthdays were at the same time. Chris is really considered a friend and family. He has always been a dedicated and committed friend to us. We had about 50 people show up to the BBQ. It was fun celebrating the birthdays with family and friends.

Oh and we were planning on going to seven peaks that day but it rained so we went in our swimming wear to Fat Cats Bowling.

A Little Update

Wow so I apologize for not writing on this blog for almost a year now.... I had told Enoch that I wasn't going to do it ever again because I never liked the fact of writing so much and then putting all of your pictures on the blog. I became frustrated every time because the pictures would mess the whole texting part. So i told enoch that he was going to be in charge of the blog but that was obviously a bad idea now that its taken almost a year since we have posted anything.

Enoch and I are doing well.... Enoch is working for Wells Fargo in the Mortgage department. I am going through school for another year. I am hoping this is the last year. (fingers crossed) other than school I have been dancing with my amazing partner Seth levin and on the Touring Ballroom Team. I will try to up load some pictures and videos of the ballroom concert.

I did a swing solo with Tyler Butler. This was my favorite solo I ever did.

Oh Enoch went to Washington DC with a few of his friends. I will try to get him to post the pictures up and talk about the trip..... cant promise anything though. :)

My first year of Women's Conference....

.. it was sooooo good and I had so much fun. I have never seen so many women in one area. I went with my family. We had a rocken time. Just so you know because I do have an identical twin sister Alisha has the shorter hair and I am in the White shirt. ;)

Sorensen Family Reunion

Okay so this was not the most recent photos of Enoch and I but these are some of the exciting things we have done the past few months.

We had so much fun spending a weekend at Bear lake. We did a lot of activities with the family. We seadoo, boating, skying, making sand castles and baring ourselves and others into the sand. here are some pictures I hope you all will enjoy.

We had so much fun out on the beautiful water. Enoch took me on a crazy ride on the seadoo and taught me how to do donuts. I tried to throw Enoch off but never could..... next time.

This was the first time I have gone to Bear Lake. It was such a fun and new experience for me and even my fist niece Kyra. She loved the beach!

We were laughing so hard when my grandpa went out on the seadoo. He was not wanting to anything else but ride that thing all day. Oh and in his jumper suit. I guess you can say your never too old to ride a seadoo. This picture would totally be great for a Christmas card.

So we get up early in the morning to get a good

ride on the lake before it got too choppy..... Enoch wanted every one to know that he successfully did a whole 360. YEAH! This was my first time but I had no luck. I kept bending in half I think i might be too bendy..... there's always next time. At least I can say that i tried.

Paris

Okay so I need to add a few more really fun picture from the trip to Europe with Enoch.
It was fun was so much fun in London and after a week we were off to Paris. Once we arrived there I had this huge craving for crapes and I had to take Enoch to see the Eifel tower.

The first few days Enoch and I visited Notre Dame, The Mosse d orsay, shops, Arch de Triomphe, and the Louvre.

Going to the Mosse d Orsay was an amazing experience for both Enoch and I. We saw lots of art work and statues from famous artist like Gauguin, Van Goagh, Derain, and Vlaminck.

Arch de Triomphe is so scary to watch the drivers go through the roundabout. There are no lights and 14 different ways in and out of circle. Welcome to Paris!

The louvre had Paintings, Drawings, Sculptures, and Objects of art. We spent a full day there and still didn’t get to see everything we wanted to see. This place is huge.

The time we spent in Paris was amazing we even had a chance to visit Versailles and Normandy(D-day).

The gardens and fountains at Versailles were amazing! I have never seen so many fountains in one place. The Gardens were huge... miles and miles long. No joke.

My favorite part of the palace was the hall of mirrors and the beautiful art work on the ceilings.

Normandy was a humbling experience for Enoch and I. We rode our bikes and saw the beaches. It was so beautiful to be on the country side of Paris.

Note to self: when going back to Normandy the next time.

if not any of those......

Listen to the random guy that comes up to you to offer a ride to show you all the cool cool cool sights of Normandy for only 40 euro so we wouldn't have to ride over 25 miles up hill...... so much fun!

We stayed busy every day while we were in Europe and learned so much about the History. It was so nice to be with each other. We spent every night at the Eiffel tower watching the lights flicker on the hour. This was vacation we will never forget.

Enoch and I went to the temple today!!! Yeah! Lately its been a little difficult to find the time to go. But we did it Yeah! It was beautiful.

Emily a friend and I decided to get together and I would teach her how to make Empanadas.. mmmmm so good.

Enoch & Alayne Wadsworth

Okay so Enoch has made me do this….. Im not sure where to begin but I thought the best place to start is how Enoch and I met.

Enoch’s parents moved into the same home ward as mine. My Grandmother and Enoch’s mother Norma decided to set us Enoch and me on a date. Enoch and I hung out a few time during the last week he was going to be staying with his mother before he was leaving back out to California where he was living at the time.

We both didn’t think anything was to happen with the two of us because we were both going to be living in two different states. As Enoch was in California we would talk with one another on the phone anytime we were not working, eating (sometimes), or sleeping.

After a few weeks Enoch decided to send me out to California to see him. This was a huge step for myself to be out of my territory. Enoch says that he was testing me to see what I would be like. I’m guessing I passed the test. Enoch and I kept traveling back and forth for a few months visiting each other. After three months Enoch proposed to me at Temple Square in front of the Christus.

Enoch and I were married November 4, 2006 at the Salt Lake Temple sealed for all eternity.

Enoch and I are enjoying life and the new experiences. I recently got back from Europe where I was competing at the World Championships. Enoch surprised me in London by showing up at my room. I will try to upload the video to the blog.

We traveled all over Europe London, Paris, Scotland, and Normandy.

London was so much fun once Enoch showed up. I was able to show Enoch everything that I’ve seen and done plus more. We saw Big Ben Tower, London eye, Greenwich Time were you see the Prime Meridian line, British museum, Tower Bridge, Tower Castle, Buckingham Palace, St. Cathedral, and Wicked the best play in the world.
